CELTA Trainers

Your trainers on the Cambridge CELTA certification course at GV Calgary will be Jiri Karas and Phil Connelly.

Both Jiri and Phil have the advanced Cambridge Diploma in English Language Teaching (DELTA), a sound background of theoretical knowledge, and years of teaching experience with unilingual and multilingual groups in various teaching contexts. They have taught English and trained teachers in England, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, China, Armenia and Canada.

While on the course, the Cambridge CELTA course trainees have access to:

• A library of ESL resources and textbooks
• A computer lab with high-speed internet access
• A wireless network
• A photocopier and stationery needed for lesson planning and teaching
